I'm loving my mantel these days.
Fall is my absolute favorite and I feel I have successfully infused that love into my home.
I made the banner using burlap and felt I had laying around the house. I added some fake leaves from the dollar store and secured them all to binding with hot glue. So simple!
This vase if my favorite. It was a teal colored glass vase that we have had around the house forever and was in desperate need of a make-over. I sprayed the whole thing with three coats of antique white paint and added some burlap and twine around the center.
{true confessions....i tried to paint a chevron on it and that didn't work out so well, so i had to find a way to cover my boo-boo and still add some interest}
I'm also loving these candlesticks. They were a great snag from my recent trip to New Ulm where Mom and I were able to stop by Weeds & Reeds to visit the Junk Squad.
$8 for the pair!!
Topped with some dollar store pumpkins, they are the perfect addition and a great way to add height to the mantel.
I hope to add some Halloween touches to the house soon as well.
Stay tuned.
